THE
SECRET PLACE, EVERY BELIEVER NEEDS IT
PSALM
91:1 A DWELLING PLACE OF FELLOWSHIP He that
dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.
The secret
place is where you develop intimacy with God.
It is where the child of God grows in their relationship with Him daily away
from distractions.
Matthew
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
The
secret place transforms your heart. The
more time you spend with God alone in your quiet place the more you become like
Him. Transformation from the inside always begins in God’s presence before it
becomes visible in our daily life.

Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in
a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to
glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Those
who are effective in public are usually those who have learned the value of
seeking God in private first. Time spent
with God renews Faith, builds up the spirit, and prepares you for life’s
challenges of the day. Jesus is our example, before He ministered
publicly He often withdrew to His secret place to spend time with the
Father.
Mark
1:35 And
in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed
into a solitary place, and there prayed.
