Psalm 118:17 - I shall not die, but live, and Declare The Works of the Lord
You would think from many of the BREAKING NEWS broadcasts that this virus is going to kill us all, and many people are reacting to it in much the same way.

NO matter what life may deal out to us as Christians we can stand tall knowing that God has purposed our lives, and because HE has spoken into our spirits; have “Faith in God”.

I Shall Not Die, I Shall Not Quit, I Shall Not Give Up but instead I WILL LIVE, I WILL SURVIVE, I will keep getting up and shew forth The Praises of HIM who hath called me out of darkness into his marvellous light;  There is no battle that we can not win because God is a very present help (our help) in the time of trouble and even though enemies should rise up against us they shall stumble, and fall because in the time of trouble the Lord will hide you in the shelter of his tabernacle. In spite of how dark the midnight; weeping will only endure for a night, because as surely as GOD IS, the  JOY OF THE LORD will come IN THE MORNING, AND EVERY MORNING AFTER IT.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

God is calling all of us to not be afraid. Fear not, HE says to US “Again & Again” because God is with US. Fear not, because the Living God is your God. Fear not, because God will strengthen you. Fear not, because God is right now  Helping You. Fear not, because God will support you and hold you up by HIS Victorious Right Hand (Hand Of Power & Might).  Jesus said, “Let Not Your Hearts be Troubled. Believe in God” (John 14:1). What else can HE say? “Fear not, for God is with you; be not dismayed, for he is your God; again HE said “ I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will hold you up with My Victorious Right Hand.”

Lots of HEADLINE NEWS swirling around in our world these Days.

Difficult stories Suicides, Political battles Wars with words, unrest, uncertainty, Terrorist threats, Natural Disasters, Violence, and just Pure Evil.
These images and news stories can often leave many feeling overwhelmed with fear and worry, for our children, for the future, and for this nation.
Yet God's Truth breaks through all the mess. The Lord breathes PEACE and Assurance that no matter what, HE still holds ALL things in HIS hands.  God’s not anxiously pacing Heaven's floors. HE's not thinking up a Plan B since Plan A didn't work. HE reminds us that HE's always in control, and is the only true Security of Our Days.

Psalm 146:3  Put Not your Trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is No Help.
5. HAPPY is he that hath the God of Jacob for His Help, whose Hope is in the Lord his God: which made Heaven, and Earth, the sea, and all that therein is:
which keepeth Truth for ever:
which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners: the Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous: the Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. 10 The Lord Shall Reign For ever

"My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ, the Solid Rock, I Stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
All other ground is sinking sand."
This Truth remains through all Eternity.
Jesus is the Rock that won't Move.
Jesus is the Rock that won't Budge.
He won't shift this way or that based on popular opinion.
He won't ever sink or give way to defeat.
Jesus is our ROCK sure and safe, loving and gracious, forgiving and faithful, powerful and strong, and HIS Words are Truth, bringing Life and Freedom.

                      THE VOICE OF THE LORD

 In 1 Kings 19: we find the prophet Elijah running into the wilderness from the ( “ Noises “ –Threats from Jezebel) and had collapsed in a state of exhaustion.  God sent an angel with food and water ( prepared a table in the wilderness)  to strengthen him, told him to Rest, and then sent him to Horeb. In a cave there, Elijah voices his complaint /(FEAR’S) that all of God’s prophets had been killed by Jezebel and he alone had survived.  Soo -  God instructed the prophet to stand on the mountain in HIS PRESENCE.

Then the Lord sent a Mighty Wind which broke the rocks in pieces; then THE lord sent an earthquake and a fire, but His voice was in none of them. After all that, the Lord spoke to Elijah in the “Still Small Voice”, or “gentle whisper.”

In this we see that Divine silence does not necessarily mean divine inactivity. Zechariah 4:6 tells us that God’s work is “not by Might nor by Power, but by My Spirit,” meaning that overt displays of power are not necessary for the KING OF KINGS and Lord of Lords to work.
God speaks most clearly to us in this day through His Word. The more we Listen and Hear it , the more ready we will be to recognize His voice when He speaks, and the more likely we will be to obey what we hear.

Romans 1:25 Who changed the Truth of God into a Lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Isaiah 5:20  - Woe unto them that call evil Good, and Good Evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
This is a verse for such a time as THIS.  For months, and years now we have been witness to this scripture being lived out on our TV’s, in our city’s, states and on the national stage. It does not matter whether you are a Democrat or a Republican – this comes down to basic values and crosses party and denominational lines. We are seeing daily what is Good called Evil and what is Evil called Good.

Obviously, it didn’t used to be this way. There was a time if you mentioned basic moral rules like the Ten Commandments; everyone would agree that they were right. Not only were they right for All, but they were also known to All. Everyone knew that honoring parents and telling the TRUTH is right for Everyone. And everyone knew that deliberately taking innocent human life, and mocking God is wrong for everyone. Today all of that has changed

It seems that TRUTH AND MORALITY  have become  somewhat dirty words, or at least corrupted ones.

The Bible defines Truth as being utterly reliable and enduring. The reason is simple: authentic, biblical truth is inextricably linked to the dependable, unchanging character of almighty God. You can trust everything He says; He never lies; He always keeps His Word; He’s Faithful to all His Promises.
King David calls the Lord, “God of Truth” (Psalm 31:520). And He most certainly is the source of “Truth” in the modern sense of the word, since He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19; Romans 3:4; Titus 1:2). But more than this, and the very reason for His truthfulness, is that He’s completely Faithful and Reliable in All He does and says.  HE IS GOD ALONE.
